Datamotive is thrilled to achieve a Bronze award this year. The judges were very complimentary of the potential for Datamotive. One of the judges’ commented “Datamotive is a unique company offering service and can be standout product for the following reasons:
(1) Cloud Portability is a very niche and growing industry. In a multi-cloud and hybrid cloud world, this is an industry that has tremendous potential, as it reduces the time for cloud migration. IT greatly simplifies the ability to move applications and data from one cloud provider to another or between a public cloud and a private cloud with minimal disruption.
(2) The capability of moving entire workloads; OS, platform, application, code and data from any cloud to any cloud with a guaranteed recovery SLA of 10-minutes irrespective of the workload size; is a very powerful function and this is something clients are looking for eagerly
(3) The company has been awarded in the NetApp excellence awards in India, which attests to the promise of the underlying technology.”
‘Cloud Portability’ has been identified by Gartner in its 2021 tech report as a required technology innovation trigger. Yogesh Anyapanwar, Founder and CEO of Datamotive, remarked that “Datamotive solves the interoperability challenges by enabling seamless mobility of entire workloads across and between ANY cloud to ANY cloud, natively, securely, and instantly. To elaborate, Datamotive enables, for e.g. a VMware VM to be replicated in an online and agentless manner to AWS and in case of a disaster, or migration, recover the VMware VM as a native EC2 instance, in 10 minutes regardless of the size of the VM. It could be a 200 GB VM or a 10 TB VM, recovery is always in 10 minutes flat.”
Datamotive has solved this interoperability issue and helps enterprises hop from one cloud to another seamlessly, enabling a completely new operating model for hybrid, multi-cloud environments.
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process in June and July.
